Standards

Here are the six standards we will be addressing over the semester:

Standard 7: Analyze and graph quadratic functions using the technique of completing the square to find the vertex and axis of symmetry.

Standard 8: Analyze and graph cubic and absolute value functions, and non-functions (circles, parabolas).

Standard 9: Find the inverse of a given function algebraically, and graph functions and their inverses.

Standard 10: Analyze and graph hyperbolic, exponential, and logarithmic functions.

Standard 11: Determine degree and roots of polynomial functions, and sketch a graph of a polynomial function given the equation in factored form.

Standard 12: Simplify expressions with complex numbers. Solve logarithmic equations.
